Insgesamt drei Mal war ich bei der englischen Marinestation. Das erste Mal, im November 1981, konnte ich nur über den Zaun photographieren, die anderen beiden Male, August 1984 und  Juni 1989, hatte ich die Gelegenheit in den Basis die Maschinen zu besichtigen und photographieren.

Ebenfalls der Historc Flight gehörte diese Fairey AS-5 Firefly (WB 271), die leider vor einigen Jahren abgestürzt ist.

Zwei Jahre nach dem Falkland-Krieg zeigte die Royal Navy wie eine Rückeroberung gemacht wird. Westland HU-5 Wessex und Westland HC Mk.4 Commando der 845 Sqn zeigen bei einer Air Power Demonstration ihr können.
