The plane is designated Helicopter No. 9 (H.9 ฮ.๙).

 

Die Maschine wird als Hubschrauber No. 9 (H.9 ฮ.๙)  bezeichnet.

 

   

Die drei AS-332L-2 Super Puma wurden 1996 für den "Royal Flight" beschafft. Die ersten beiden Maschinen wurden am 26. Oktober 1996 übergeben, die dritte folgte später. Diese dritte Maschine stürzte auf einem Testflug am 19. September 1997 bei I-Bajoh, Sukhirin Distrikt, Naratiawat Provinz ab. 14 Personen wurden getötet und sieben wurden verletzt.

Die verbleibenden Maschinen wurde daraufhin eingelagert und nicht wieder verwendet. Sie hatten ein schlechtes Karma.

2002 wurden die beiden AS-332L-2 Super Puma überholt und wieder in Dienst genommen. Doch schon 2005 wurden die ungeliebten Super Pumas nach Singapur verkauft.
