The Paribatra บริพัตร (also
spelled Boripatra or Boriphat) was a two-seater light bomber aircraft of
the 1920s designed and built by the Royal Siamese Air Force's
Aeronautical Workshops. A small number were built for the Thai Air
Force, with the type being the first Thai-designed aircraft. |

Die Paribatra บริพัตร (auch
Boripatra oder Boriphat geschrieben) war ein zweisitziges leichtes
Bomberflugzeug der 1920er Jahre, das von den Aeronautical Workshops der
Royal Siamese Air Force entworfen und gebaut wurde. Eine kleine Anzahl wurde
für die thailändische Luftwaffe gebaut, wobei
der Typ das erste von Thailand entworfene Flugzeug war. |

In December 1929, three
Paribatras set off on a goodwill visit to British India. One crashed
fatally shortly after setting off, but the other two reached Rangoon on
24. December that year and Calcutta on 28. December 1929. A second
aircraft crashed when flying to Allahabad, but the third completed the
planned journey to Delhi. A more successful visit was made to Hanoi,
French Indochina by two Paribatras during 1930-31. |
Im Dezember 1929 brachen drei
Paribatras zu einem Goodwill-Besuch nach Britisch-Indien auf. Eine stürzte
kurz nach dem Start tödlich ab, aber die anderen beiden erreichten Rangun am
24. Dezember des Jahres und Kalkutta am 28. Dezember 1929. Ein zweites
Flugzeug stürzte beim Flug nach Allahabad ab, aber das dritte beendete die
geplante Reise nach Delhi. Ein erfolgreicherer Besuch wurde in den Jahren
1930-31 von zwei Paribatras in Hanoi, Französisch-Indochina, unternommen. |
