History

Geschichte

1954 beschaffte die RTAF sechs Sikorsky S.55 Chickasaw, die jede rund $ 152'150.- kosteten.

Im Februar 1959 wurden zwei weitere Maschinen über das MAP beschafft. Dabei handelt es sich um Maschinen der USAF.  1965 wurden die H-19 ausgemustert und durch die UH-34D ersetzt. Einziger Betreiber der H-19 war die 63. Staffel des 6. Geschwaders in Bangkok.
