Entwicklung
The Bell 412 is a twin-engine utility helicopter of the Huey / Iroquois family manufactured by Bell Helicopter. It is a development of the Bell 212, with the major difference being the composite four-blade main rotor. Development began in the late 1970s with two Bell 212s being converted into 412 prototypes. An advanced four-blade main rotor with a smaller diameter replaced the 212's two-blade rotor. The Bell 412 prototype first flew in August 1979.
Die Bell 412 ist ein zweimotoriger Mehrzweck-hubschrauber der Huey / Iroquois-Familie von Bell Helicopter. Es ist eine Weiterentwicklung der Bell 212, wobei der Hauptunterschied der Vierblatt-Hauptrotor ist. Die Entwicklung begann in den späten 1970er Jahren mit zwei Bell 212, die in 412 Prototypen umgewandelt wurden. Ein fortschrittlicher Vierblatt-Hauptrotor mit einem kleineren Durchmesser ersetzte den Zweiblatt-Rotor der 212. Die Bell 412 Prototyp flog erstmals im August 1979.

Only one Bell 412EP was delivered to the Kaset. The plane was delivered in October 1997 and had the Serial N7244S before.
Nur eine Bell 412EP wurde an die Kaset geliefert. Die Maschine wurde im Oktober 1997 übergeben und trug früher die Kennung N7244S.
