Beech E-50 Twin Bonanza

The Beechcraft Model 50 Twin Bonanza is a small twin-engined aircraft designed by Beechcraft as an executive transport for the business market. It was developed to fill a gap in Beechcraft's product line between the single-engined Model 35 Bonanza and the larger Model 18. The Twin Bonanza is dissimilar to the Bonanza, being much larger and heavier and using more powerful engines, while in its earliest form having only half the passenger capacity of the Model 18.
Die Beechcraft Model 50 Twin Bonanza ist ein kleines zweimotoriges Flugzeug, das von Beech-craft als Executive-Transportmittel für den Geschäftsmarkt entwickelt wurde. Es wurde entwickelt, um eine Lücke in der Produktlinie von Beechcraft zwischen dem einmotorigen Modell 35 Bonanza und dem grösseren Modell 18 zu schlies-sen. Die Twin Bonanza unterscheidet sich vom Bonanza, da sie viel grösser und schwerer ist und in seiner frühesten Form leistungsstärkere Motoren verwendet mit nur der Hälfte der Passagier-kapazität des Modells 18.
The Beechcraft Model 65 Queen Air and Model 90 King Air are both direct descendants of the Model 50 Twin Bonanza. All three aircraft share the same basic wing design, as well as landing gear, flaps, instrument panels, fuel cells, and more. The Queen Air added a larger cabin to the design, while the later King Air added turbine power and pressurization. Twin Bonanza production ended in 1963 while the King Air was under development.
Die Beechcraft Model 65 Queen Air und Model 90 King Air sind beide direkte Nachkommen der Model 50 Twin Bonanza. Alle drei Flugzeuge haben das gleiche grundlegende Flügeldesign sowie Fahrwerk, Landeklappen, Instrumententafeln, Brennstoffzellen und mehr. Die Queen Air fügte dem Design eine größere Kabine hinzu, während die spätere King Air Turbinenleistung und Druckkabine hinzufügte. Die Produktion von Twin Bonanza endete 1963, während sich die King Air in der Entwicklung befand.
