The Wild WTS was a two-seater biplane with wooden wings and fabric covering manufactured by Robert Wild in 1915. The machine was used as a training aircraft by the Swiss Air Force until 1922.

Robert Wild was originally employed at Aviatik, a former manufacturer of vehicles and aircraft in Mulhouse in Alsace. At the national exhibition in Bern in 1914, the Aviatik CI aircraft developed by him was exhibited. The exhibit was purchased for the Luftwaffe in the same year without being tested. A year later, in 1915, Wild get the order to develop a training aircraft for the Swiss Air Force.

The WTS was verry simmilar to the The WTS was very similar to the Aviatik B.I, with open tandem cockpits with the pilot in the front.

 

Wild WTS war ein im Jahre 1915 von Robert Wild hergestellter zweisitziger Doppeldecker mit Holztragflächen und Stoffbespannung. Die Maschine war als Schulungsflugzeug innerhalb der Luftwaffe der Schweiz bis zum Jahre 1922 im Einsatz.
Robert Wild war ursprünglich bei Aviatik, einem damaligen Hersteller für Fahr- und Fluggeräte in Mülhausen im Elsass, beschäftigt. Bei der Landesausstellung in Bern 1914 wurde das von ihm entwickelte Flugzeug Aviatik C.I ausgestellt. Das Ausstellungsstück wurde noch im gleichen Jahr ohne Erprobung für die Luftwaffe käuflich erworben. Ein Jahr später 1915 erhielt Wild den Auftrag, ein Schulungsflugzeug für die Schweizer Luftwaffe zu entwickeln.
Die WTS war der Aviatik B.I sehr ähnlich, mit offenen Tandem-Cockpits mit dem Piloten vorne.
