The Wright Model K was a seaplane, manufactured for the US Navy. The Model K was Wright Company's first tractor airplane with the propellers facing forward. It was also the first Wright aircraft to use ailerons. And it was the last to use the distinctive Wright "bent-end" propellers, designed nearly ten years previously.
Die Wright Model K war ein Wasserflugzeug, das für die US Navy hergestellt wurde. Das Modell K war die erste Maschine der Wright Company das einen Zugpropeller hatte. The last Wright purchased from the original company was the full-fuselage Model K tractor seaplane (AH-23, later A51), still with chain-drive.
