Due to an administrative error, Aviation Circular Letter No. 165-46 of 12. December 1946 had identified two units, VP-HL-2 and HEDRON MAG-25 with the tail code WB. VP-HL-2 ’s tail code was later changed to AE but the effective date of this change is unknown.
