Entwicklung
After the Armistice, the US Army brought 142 Fokker D.VIIs into the US. These where the finest German fighters in service at war's end, and where used in numbers throughout the Air Services as trainers for serval years. Twelve where to have been transferred to the Navy for the use by the Marine Corbs, but only six where used. These remained in the training role at Quantico Virginia until 1924.
Nach dem Waffenstillstand brachte die US Armee 142 Fokker D-VII in die USA. Diese waren die besten deutschen Jaäger bei Kriegsende und wurden eine Zeit lang als Trainer in den USA verwendet. 12 Maschinen wurden vion der US Navy für den Dienst beim Marines Corps übernommen, aber nur sechs Maschinen wurden eingesetzt. Sie blieben bis 1924 auf dem Marinestützpunkt Quantico in Virginia im einsetz.
