The Dassault Falcon 20 is a
French business jet developed and manufactured by Dassault Aviation. The
first business jet developed by the firm, it became the first of a
family of business jets to be produced under the same name; of these,
both the smaller Falcon 10 and the larger trijet Falcon 50 were direct
derivatives of the Falcon 20. |
Die Dassault Falcon 20 ist ein
französisches Geschäftsflugzeug, das von Dassault Aviation entwickelt und
hergestellt wird. Der erste von der Firma entwickelte Business Jet wurde der
erste einer Familie, die unter demselben Namen produ-ziert wurden. Von
diesen waren sowohl der kleinere Falcon 10 als auch der grössere
dreistrahlige Falcon 50 direkte Ableger der Falcon 20. |

The U.S. Coast Guard
operated the Falcon 20G, designated as the HU-25 Guardian. The Guardian
was operated as a high-speed spotter aircraft to locate shipwreck
survivors and direct slower-moving aircraft and rescue vessels, and to
interdict aerial and shipborne drug trafficking. In 1982, the first
HU-25 was delivered to the USCG, by December 1983, a total of 41
aircraft had been acquired. |
Die U.S. Coast Guard betrieb die
Falcon 20G, die als HU-25 Guardian bezeichnet wird. Die Guardian wurde als
Hochgeschwindigkeits-Erkundungsflug-zeug eingesetzt, um Überlebende von
Schiffs-wracks zu lokalisieren und langsamere Flugzeuge und Rettungsschiffe
zu lenken und den Drogen-handel aus der Luft und auf Schiffen zu
unter-binden. 1982 wurde die erste HU-25 an die USCG ausgeliefert, bis
Dezember 1983 wurden insgesamt 41 Flugzeuge beschafft. |
