St. Barth with his capital town Gustavia is one of the smallest islands in the Caribbean Sea. Today the island belonging still to France, as an overseas department.

Discovered in 1937 by the Rockefeller Dynasties it became one of the most prestige island resort for rich people in the world. The estate of the Rockefeller dynasty belonging today to Roman Abramowitch, one of the most successful oligarchs of Russia. Many of international stars out of the movie business, politics and economy have their villas at St. Barth.

To reach the island, you have to go by both or with one of the small commuter airlines. There are no international links, because of its short runway. Just get yourself a ticket by one of the following, local airlines:

Trans Anguilla Airways

… and they will fly you within 15 minutes from Sint Maarten to St. Barth.

Spend a whole day at the airport and enjoy the lazy time of a Caribbean island.

St. Barth mit seiner Hauptstadt Gustavia ist sicherlich mit 21 km2 wohl eine der kleinsten Inseln in der Karibik und ist auch heute noch ein Übersee-Departement von Frankreich.

Entdeckt, für die Reichen dieser Welt, wurde St. Barth im Jahre 1937 von der Rockefeller Dynastie. Diese kaufte sich ein riesiges Grundstück mit Villa auf der Insel, welches heute dem russischen Oligarchen, Roman Abramowitsch gehört. Viele Stars aus Politik, Filmindustrie, Sport und Wirtschaft besitzen Sommer-Residenzen auf St. Barth, wohl eine der schönsten Inseln in der Karibik.

Da der Flughafen von St. Barth keine internationale Anbindung aufweisen kann, empfiehlt sich die Insel via Sint Maarten/St. Martin zu erreichen. Tägliche Flüge folgender Airlines bringen sie in ca. 15 Minuten nach St. Barth:
