The Sopwith Schneider was a seaplane based on the Sopwith Tabloid. It was put into production in 1914. One was procured by the U.S. Navy with serial A-394. According to Royal Navy records it had Royal Navy serial 3765 and was passed on to the Canadian Navy without an engine before it went to the U.S. Navy.
